  1. Live Maine lobster cannot be handled like normal retail seafood. Membership allows us to operate as a private buying group, coordinating shipments quantities only when quality, time and logistics align.
  2.  Membership allows us to coordinate private shipments, buy directly from various licensed Maine wholesalers, and provide a premium product and guarantee the freshest quality without massive retail markups or long term storage risks.
  3. We aggregate individual orders into a single transaction (30 unit bundles) to reduce overnight shipping costs.

No. Membership simply provides this special access. Non-members as well as members choose if and when to order. There is no order frequency requirement.

  1. There are minimum orders. First, members and non-members must order a minimum of 4 lobster. Additional lobsters can be added two at a time.
  2. Lobsters are shipped in wholesale containers in units of 30. It only works when we have orders for 60 lobsters.
  3. We will not ship until there are at least orders for 60 lobsters.
  4. Add-on products, such as clams, oysters, mussels and scallops can only be ordered once an individual has ordered the four lobster minimum.

Yes, Since the minimum is four lobsters, an individual must order four, but they can split this with a friend or neighbor. We do not divide orders. That is done by the purchaser.

We must reach a minimum of 30 customers. So, we aggregate individual orders until we reach 30. Then we place the order. This could take a week, 2 weeks or more.

We notify all individuals and seek more individuals until the minimum is reached. We ask ou o help by leing your friends know we need a couple more orders.

  1. Maine only. Direct from boat to our wholesaler to overnight shipping.
     Unlike retailers who ship from holding tanks, some tanks maintained by UPS in Kentucky and containing other non-Maine lobsters stored for days or weeks, we only provide premium fresh live Maine lobsters, clams, scallops, oysters and mussels.
  2. Maine products are renowned worldwide and are special. Maine has exceptional cold waters, very clean and high in natural nutrients. That is why Maine premium lobsters are so sweet tasting with outstanding texture.

Yes. Club orders are shipped overnight to Saddlebrook Ranch for pickup by each purchaser, on the specified Friday at the Farmers Market across from the Hacienda in the parking lot.

  1. Pickup is on a scheduled Friday at the Saddlebrook Ranch Farmers Market, between 10am - 1pm. Dates will be posted and customers notified at time of order.
  2. Bring a Cooler: Place ice in two zip lock large bags and place into a cooler. Your lobsters will be placed into this cooler for the trip home.

We verify lobsters are alive before transferring over to you. We guaranteed fresh live delivery at pickup. But, once delivered you, there is no refund since these are live and have an expiration time before cooking.

We only provide live lobsters to you and verify they are alive when delivered to you. If a lobster is not alive at time of delivery, we credit you each lobster and re-order and replace any lobsters we provide to you.

These are live products and can not be held.

Once an order is placed, it can not be cancelled.

All orders must be picked up at the point and time of delivery.

There are no refunds or credits available once lobsters are delivered to the customer.

If you fail to show up and accept delivery, there is no refund and your order is forfeited.
